A new cleaner and brighter forecourt and shop
A FIRM LOCAL FAVOURITE
Locals saw the significant change
GAS Waiheke is a busy site and a firm favourite of the Island’s local community.
It had a lot of old equipment and the store looked very run-down and drab. The goal with this refurbishment was to replace the aged equipment, tidy the forecourt and renovate the shop to be cleaner and brighter, adhering to the new GAS standard. This meant Jayneil had very limited access to supplies and contractors, the situation only made worse by Alert Level 4 lockdown in August, which halted work onsite.
The refurbishment was officially completed mid-October, close to a month behind schedule. Locals on the Island were eager to check it out and see the change for themselves. Many commented on how significant the change was,
